Cutting out white carbohydrates from your diet is essential if you want to look younger. When they are broken down in your body they convert to sugar. Once this hits your bloodstream the sugar bonds with protein and creates advanced glycation end products (AGEs) which can help to contribute towards problem skin and wrinkles.

Instead include these amazing foods to help you look younger.

Cantaloupe contains folic acid that is extremely important for the regeneration of dead skin cells. It also helps to keep wrinkles at bay and maintains the skin elasticity, helps with collagen synthesis which in turn stops premature ageing.

Sweet Potatoes contain beta-carotene which balances your skins pH level. This is an antioxidant that converts to vitamin A in your body which helps produce new skin cells and removes the old ones, leaving your skin smoother and healthier.

Spinach is rich in Vitamin B, C and E, potassium, iron and omega 3 fatty acids. It also contains lutein, which protects skin from inflammation and wrinkles, keeping you it healthy and radiant. This green leafy vegetable is also rich in antioxidants and nutrients.

Tomatoes are packed full of antioxidants including lycopene that help protect your skin against sun damage from the inside out. They can also combat the skins sign of premature ageing making your skin look younger by reducing the amount of free radicals in your body.
