After months and months of planning, your big day is almost here!

You know how many guests are coming, the flowers have been ordered, the dresses for you and the bride maids are fitted and the evening celebrations are all in place. But is your skin wedding day ready?

So much work and time goes into preparing for your wedding day so it’s important that on the day you look radiant, serene and beautiful. That way you can look back on the photos in years to come and smile because you were looking and feeling your best.

Achieving perfect skin for any bride is just as important as losing the last 5 pounds, so make sure you follow these 5 steps to perfect skin.

1.    Problem Skin

If you suffer from problem skin then it’s important that you treat your skin with the relevant natural products that are suitable for your skin type. Whether you suffer from acne, rosacea, dermatitis or eczema there are excellent products on the market that will help you take control of your skin problems the natural way. Treating your skin as quickly as possible before your wedding day will help your skin to look as radiant as possible.

2.    Exfoliate

Exfoliating your skin three times a week can greatly improve the results of your skincare regime. Whether you have oily, dry, normal or sensitive skin exfoliating can breathe new life into the appearance and feel of your skin. Look for a good skin exfoliator that contains AHA which is a perfect ingredient if you suffer from problem skin. The exfoliator will help to remove dead skin cells and help you maintain a smoother surface on your skin. It’s important that you only use an exfoliator that contains natural abrasive ingredients such as rice grains because the harsher exfoliators contain particles that have sharp edges including apricot pits which can play havoc with any skin type but especially problem skin.

3.    Hair care

Don’t change your hair care products before your wedding day, whether that is your shampoo, conditioner, mouse or color products because your hair products can come into contact with your face. This may be at the gym when you sweat or even at night when you are asleep. You never know how your skin will react to a new hair care product and before you can do anything about it your big day has arrived. Don’t take any chances!

4.    Stress

I know your wedding day and the preparation can be extremely stressful but stress can cause so many problems with your skin.  Many sufferers of problem skin find that stressful situations can cause sudden flare-ups which are the last thing you need on your wedding day. Take timeout whenever you can to meditate, try a yoga class or even go out for a run to clear your head. Lots of brides to be like to enjoy a spa day to unwind with girlfriends before the bid day so why not you? Don’t let the after effects of stress ruin your special day.

5.    Facials

We all love facials but make sure that you don’t have one the day before your wedding. Some facials can cause inflammation and redness on the skin and this is something that you want to avoid when your big day comes around. Leave it a week in between having your facial and your wedding, just to be on the safe side.

Follow these 5 steps for your perfect skin on your wedding day and remember to just relax and have fun.

Just one last thing to say; congratulations!

I was thinking the same thing after Pebble Beach! I just don’t see it. It is kind of homely!
