Using Echinacea for Problem Skin

Echinacea, also known as the (purple cornflower) is a native North American plant which is found in open wooded areas. It is has been used in herbal remedies for many years to treat many different ailments.  There are nine species of echinacea and purpurea is considered to be the most effective and is also the most commonly used species.

One of the main health benefits of echinacea is treating colds and flu by strengthening the immune system and promoting white blood cell production within the body.
