Miranda is senior writer at Rolling Stone, where she covers music and pop culture. She’s written cover stories on Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, and Boygenius, the latter of which won Best Entertainment Feature at the Southern California Journalism Awards in 2024. She’s also interviewed iconic musicians and actors like Stevie Nicks, Neil Young, Jamie Lee Curtis, Christina Ricci, and others. She focuses on in-depth features on the unsung women of the music industry, from Seventies singer-songwriter Judee Sill to singer Nicolette Larson. Her feature on Michelle Phillips of the Mamas and Papas won The Newswomen’s Club of New York’s Front Page Award in 2023. She resides in Brooklyn with her husband (and a lot of plants).
