Slippery Elm (Bark)

Slippery elm is a tree. The inner bark (not the whole bark) is used as medicine. Slippery elm is applied to the skin for wounds, burns, gout, rheumatism, cold sores, boils, abscesses, ulcers, toothaches, and sore throats.
